Update regarding the beginning of the academic year 2020/2021

According to the structure of the academic year 2020/2021, approved by the Senate of the George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology of Târgu Mureș, the teaching activities in Târgu Mureș will start on September 14th, 2020.

Between September 14th – 27th, 2020, all teaching activities will take place exclusively online, similar to the procedure of the second semester of the academic year 2019/2020. Starting with September 28th, 2020, the teaching activities will take place in a hybrid system: courses will be exclusively online, and practical activities will be both on-site and online.

Following the Order of the Ministry of Education and Research and the Ministry of Health no. 5487/1494/2020, for the approval of the measures for organization of the activity within the educational units / institutions in safe epidemiological conditions, for the prevention of the diseases with SARS-CoV-2, UMFST elaborated a Plan of Measures for the Teaching Activities. After its approval by the Mureș Public Health Department and by the Senate of the University, it will be published for the entire academic community.
